About Collective Pace and Yvan Delia-Lavictoire

Hello, I'm Yvan Delia-Lavictoire.

Football has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've played it, watched it, written about it, and eventually built a career around it.

But I'll be honest: I never set out to work in the football industry.

I didn't study sports marketing or management, and I had no particular career plan. I simply loved the game and wanted to be part of it in some way.

So, I did what anyone would do back then: I started a blog.

What began as a place to share my passion for football became something much bigger. It opened doors, introduced me to people around the world, led to projects I could only have dreamed of, and eventually became the starting point for my own consulting business.

Over the past decade, I've had the opportunity to work with clubs, leagues, brands, agencies, and some of the biggest names in sport. Along the way, I've learned that making things happen in football takes more than knowing the game. It takes understanding the people, businesses, and culture that make it what it is.

That's where I found my place.

I enjoy making sense of complex challenges, connecting the dots, and finding practical ways forward. Sometimes that means developing a strategy. Other times, it's rethinking how something works, identifying an opportunity, or simply helping someone figure out what to do next.

That's what Collective Pace is about.

Working alongside people and organizations building the game. Bringing together strategy, marketing, and operations to find solutions that make sense for their business, their ambitions, and the world of football around them.

I've always believed that the best work happens when people move forward together, and I'm here to help make that happen.
